That decision was appalling. Macklin should be going home with belt.

It was a plain robbery. Matthew Macklin must have won. It wasn'y even close.
I had it 117-111 for Macklin and that by being very generous to Sturm by giving him the close rounds.

It is the robbery of the year until now,

Got to hate those corrupted german juges.

It's far from the worst ever German robbery but I do feel Macklin won. 7 rounds to 5.

I'm not a Brit. I have no dog in this fight. But that was shameful.

    Rubbish..

It was an even fight between a busier, but arm and glove-hitting man and a man with much tighter defense and less busy but far more precise punches.

I had it 115-113 for Sturm, but a 114-114 would also be ok.

A disappointing performance by Sturm against a very basic slugger. Says it all about the poor level of the 160 division.

First of all, Macklin wasn’t robbed.

    Second, those judges weren’t German.

Third, it was a great, close fight that could have gone either way depending on what you liked more – workrate or quality of shots. I always tend to favour quality of shots, and I had it 115-113 for Sturm who came on very strong towards the end.

And I was rooting for Macklin, by the way!
