Can anyone make a case for giving Sturm 8 rounds?

 

Stick Sturm in with Martinez and see him taste the canvas.

 

I had it 6-5-1 to Sturm but 116-112 is far too wide imo. Real shame for Macklin, so many big options open to him if he had won.

 

Great performance from Macklin, could've gone either way. But no ****ing way did Sturm win by 4 rounds!

I had it 115-113 Sturm. No way I think it can be called a robbery, its one of them famous 'could have gone either way' fights. Macklin did a lot better than I expected though, he kept th pressure on for the full 12 so full respect to him for that

Strangley the general forum seem to see the result as more of a robbery than here. Maybe it was the Irish thing.

 

i gave him 7 and 2 of the maclin rounds were close.

 

it wasn't a robbery at all, but it now feels like one because of the margin.
Not quite the same as Fury and McDermott, but in a similar vein, that has become a bona fide robbery because of the margin.
