When was the last time a main event has been 10 rounds?, does it happen often?.

For some sort of a title I think, a USBA one or something

    Round 6

Coyne is whipping right hooks from outside, one at a time. McNemar is bouncing in place, indecisively - like a white Holyfield. Coyne pops him with a hard lead left. Wild hook by McNemar misses. Coyne angles in on him behind a right jab, and sends a lead left sailing over his back as McNemar quickly ducks. They wrestle and McNemar is tossed into the ropes. Right hook by Coyne. Now a left uppercut just misses. They circle slowly, no urgency. Coyne adjusts his trunks. Both miss big shots.

    59-55 Coyne

Ha i am calm, it just seems strange to me that the main event featuring a former Champion against a top 10 fighter is a 10 round fight.

    Round 7

Coyne hunts with his right jab, McNemar keeping his hands low and trying to use his legs to stay outside of Coyne's range. McNemar is very relaxed, even able to simply rock back with his feet set and watch Coyne's shots fall short inches away. Coyne is still raising and dropping his arms, wasting a lot of energy with his posturing on the outside and not doing anything effective to get inside. McNemar is actually spotting him a mile away and landing good counter right uppercuts. Coyne lands a short right hook up top as he takes a large step forward. 1-2 into the guard by McNemar, who follows up with a hard body shot. Clinch. McNemar is grabbed behind the neck.

    10-9 McNemar

    58-55 Coyne

    Round 8

McNemar is whipping Coyne with left hooks and looping rights, then grabbing and spoiling with sidelong movement and powerful shoving. Coyne is throwing very little, just trying to pop right jabs out of a loose stance as his arms move up and down from his face to his sides (thus taking a lot of potential snap and straightness out of his jab). McNemar is backing up and drawing him along, catching him with his awful looping shots and avoiding punishment. Somehow McNemar is outboxing him.

    10-9 McNemar

    77-75 Coyne

    Round 9

McNemar is piercing with his left hook, putting a lot of power behind it and coming up off his toes as he digs at the head of Coyne. A few right jabs to the body by Coyne. McNemar feints and growls. Clinch. Coyne throws a 1-2 and nearly falls down as he stumbles backwards with the force of getting blocked while off balance. Sloppy punching by both. Coyne grabs him with his right and works the left uppercut on the inside. They hook together, Coyne with his right and McNemar with his left and they wind up holding each other around the nape of the neck with their open gloves. Hard combo by McNemar charging in. Right hook by Coyne as he turns his foe. Lead left misses but he digs to the body just before the bell.

    10-9 Coyne

    87-84 Coyne
