Matthyse is showing 0 respect for Alexanders punches. If his stamina holds up he could get to him late here

Agreed. If he can cut off the ring and walk Alexander down then Alexander is in big trouble.
    Fair enough :good

    Round 2

Matthysse is waving his left arm around, making Alexander watch the birdie as he sets up right hands. Hard shots by Matthysse falling in, with Alexander leaning back and popping counter right jabs and left uppercuts. Good movement by Alexander. Matthysse trades jabs with Alexander, both missing but Matthysse more focused on setting up his right hand. Nice right hook by Alexander. Powerful combo by Matthysse misses. Flurry by Alexander capped off with a right hook. Straight left to the body by Alexander. Matthysse throws a 1-2, landing the jab but finding his target gone by the time he lets the right go. Left hand feint by Alexander, complete with a bark. Right hook by Alexander as he gets pushed back into the ropes. Matthysse lands a hook, but gets bombed with a good solid straight left. Big combo by Matthysse as Alexander leans against the ropes.

    20-18 Alexander

Alexander thoroughly out-boxed Matthyse in that round. 2-0 Devon.

Alexander's accuracy is pretty poor. He won the 2nd on activity, though.

    1-1

Great fight! Round could have went either way. I think Alexander probably landed more shots.
