    Alexander is jabbing with his right and uppercutting with his left while leaning intentionally far inside to grab and hold. Lots of wrestling. Matthysse holds and hits. Alexander grins at him. 1-2 by Alexander, stepping past Matthysse. The Argentine spins around and pops him with a right thrown almost blind. Body shots by Alexander before grabbing and spinning Matthysse. Right jab and a grab by Alexander. Slapping combo by Matthysse bearing in on the ducking Alexander. Right uppercut by Alexander on the inside.

    Alexander is landing more often, with greater accuracy, and isn't exactly tapping him. Plus, he is controlling the distance and tempo.
    He is effective and showing better ring generalship.

    As I already said before, there must be a reason. They don't just "make it a 12 rounder" arbitrarily.
