Was Matthysse robbed?

    For the life of me I don't know how he had it 96-93 for Devon when Lucas CLEARLY won 4,5,6,7,8 and the 10th with the 4th being a 10-8 round :patsch:patsch:patsch

    It was close but Matthysse was the clear winner.

    I did I felt this fight was a very close one and could have even been a draw. I dont accept the 96-93 for either fighter, but had Alexander 95-94 winning the last two rounds. I think many had the Judah fight in mind influencing this fight the way they view it. I felt Alexander did enough to win by one round or even a draw. Even when he was hurt I felt he stay in action and even got some good shots. He was involve in the whole fight except for that one round. I dont think a robbery the way some are making it to be like it is. If it was 7-3 then yes, but I felt there was a lot of close rounds except for two rounds that were clearly Matthysse.

    He was the worst commentator I've ever heard. Earlier on tonight, I listened to John Rawling and Jim Watt get the Macklin fight completely wrong, so that says a lot.

    I can understand the 9th round which I thought he one that one , but how the hell did he win the 10th?

    I don't think there's a valid argument for devon winnin. At most he can have 5 rounds and even that's pulling it out of your arse to give him benefit.

    A close but clear victory.

    Not the worst robbery of the night tho, did anyone see the ryan coyne fight? That was a horrendous decision!

    I had it a draw really, Devon won the first 3rds with the busy jab, Lucas won a two point round in rd 4, Devon came right back & won rd 5, I gave 6 to Lucas, 7 to Lucas, 8 to Lucas, 9 Devon & 10, Lucas, that gives Lucas a one point win on my cards, yea Lucas landed the harder shots late but he didn't dominate the fight by any stretch, it was a close fight I would have understood a draw but could see how the last judge could have gave Devon 6 rds, some middle rounds were close but damn neither fighter won decisive so **** happens, quit crying robbery all the damn time...

    Yes I did I think he was busier guy for most of that round until the last 30-45 seconds.

    His lip wasn't just quivering on its own, you know..:yep

    I'm not accusing you personally, but HBO could have influenced a lot of people into tipping undeserved rounds Alexander's way here at some points. They would just flat out ignore several bombs being landed by Matthysse, and then call a single counter from DA.
