He's the mandatory challenger and said afterwards he is ready to fight. Yeah right Jones will lose badly if that is his next fight. he should go after someone like Kell Brooks instead.

Pac needs a young Boxer on his resume so this one is a good fight. Mike is a tall and young slick african-american welterweight ticks the boxes.

If only he'd lost one of those times to JSK. A rubbermatch would be great for boxing (and for both fighters).

There's no place for him in the Pac-Weather stratosphere. He isn't getting either one of them.

Jones-Brook might wind up becoming the "big" welterweight showdown when the dust settles.

jones is tall, young, slick, and fast. he is one tough matchup for pacquiao. i just hope jones will not gas out in the later rounds as what happened to his first fight against karass.

Pac would smash him like a dirty Baguio City slut. He is not and will never be ready.

I will tell you what, Mike Jones got real boxing skills and I think he should be ahead of everybody for a shot at the WW top two guys which is Money and Pac. Right now, Money will out think him but Pacs ass will be in a whole lot of trouble, because the man has an educated jab

there is absolutely no money in a pac-jones fight. no one even knows jones. ain't gonna happen unless pac is still fighting in 2013, and jones actually beats someone with a name along the way.

So this is the start of Pac ducking Mike Jones.

We all know Pac kills him. and that the fight will not happen. But Pac haters will say in retrospect that Pac ducked Mike Jones.

no he isn't, and he won't get the fight. no-one knows who he is yet, and casuals probably only remember him for that first fight with soto-karass, which he probably lost. he needs to build himself first and prove he's a legit opponent. maybe he can fight the best of the rest, berto, zaveck, aydin, or ortiz after mayweather is done with him, and then talk pac.

Agree!! He is not on Pacquiao level (probably will never be). Watched a recent video on youtube where he was also saying he's still a work in progress. He's keeping it real by being honest. Berto has got bigger thanks to his last performance and a fight against Jones makes sense for both of them actually.
