all over the world. If Mathysse was home, he wins. Same for Kotelnik. Both lost close decisions to Alexander away from home. People are complaining about Sturm losing...yet he won.

Mathysse came out too fast, and gassed in the end. He was well on his way to a win and tired as you can see from his deep breaths during the fight. Alexander tired early from body shots, and then got a second wind. Close fights aren't robberies. Quit crying. Your fighter is fighting away from home. Wtf did you expect in a close fight?

Well he's not MY fighter, I don't care much for any of the guys who fought tonight.

However, fighters being handed a loss just because it's the other guys hometown is wrong. Just because it happens a lot, and it happens all over the world does not make it okay or acceptable. Everyone in MLB was on the roids for a while, but it was never okay.

I think you two are missing my point. My point is that when you leave home, fight like Mike McCallum did on the road. McCallum was flawless to the point that you knew he was robbed had he lost.

Mathysse and Kotelnik were not clear cut winners over Alexander. Tonights main event was a SD victory and yet some of you guys think Mathysse was out right robbed in a close fight.

Maybe this is just a young boxing fan accpting the way things are, or maybe your just fed up with boxing as a whole, but that sounds like bull**** to me. What your saying is that if you go on the road, you have to just accept your going to have to go the extra mile. Thats bull**** man, you should be able to beat the other guy and have the judges call it right. I can't believe your going to say that its okay or acceptable that guys get home cooking like that.... Whats wrong with you?

im probably older than you lol. I'm sure you read my post, so I won't assume anything about you. Nothing in my post suggest that I'm ok with close decisions going to the other guy. I said what did you expect. Boxing has been this way for a long time.

I'm not a fan of either guy as I respect both guys. Nowhere in my post do I say its okay or acceptable to give the home twin guy tbe decision. I've seen so many bad decisions and robberies that I know the difference between close fights and robberies. I've been a fan of boxing for 35 years. I know what I'm saying lol.

The fight typically happens in the Town where there is most suport/fans turning out to watch. This means that the home town fighter is typically worth a lot more money! Boxing promoters seem to want Boxing to be fixed outcome like WWF so they can keep there cash cow fighting and being relevent.

When I saw how many people turned out to watch Sturm in Germany i.e. 10's of 1000's it was obvious Macklin would nerver get a decision. Not many fighters can sell that many tickets so are a highly valuable commodity to the promoter. Macklin winning that fight would cost £millions to the promoters and where ever there is high reward there is corruption!

    P*sses me off!

:good We hate it but what you say has more than a grain of truth to it.
