I dont' think Vitali will lose any sleep over this news.................

Vitali by very brutal knockout!!!!!!! I give Stiverne zero chance, it will be a mismatch!!! Again, the one who beats Austin gets a Mandatory shot.......why is this?

How many WBC title eliminators has Austin got thus far? 3?

    What a joke.

Isn't Austin owned by Don King?

I like Stiverne. He is a decent operator with good fundamentals and what appears to be a hefty punch. He didn't look in the best of condition tonight, which is dissapointing. He needs to be brought along quite steadily now and give him some tests. The VITLAY fight won't happen. He'll be retired by the time Stiverne is ready for a title tilt.

The only thing Stiverne has going for him based on what I saw tonight is that he has legit punching power. If Austin was able to hit him constantly with the jab, imagine how much more Vitali can do against Stiverne.

Bermane Stiverne would represent the biggest mismatch of Vitali's comeback.

Unless Stiverne learns how to slip a jab he has no chance. Maybe a punchers chance but V. Klit has a solid chin.

Unless Vitaly plans on going for 10 title defenses this fight will not happen.

I wouldnt mind Stiverne to face Seth Mitchell next.
Both not great but solid up & coming Heavy's & the loser would then go home...the winner goes on to then fight an Arreola/Chambers/Thompson level of Heavyweight around lower top 10.

Well, he beat Ausin and also has a win over Ya Ya Lawrence, so I guess he has beaten a couple of ranked guys.

That being said Vitaly murders him.

To bad, he was a good amatuer and has big power. If he had been brought along right he might have been somebody.

Stiverne needs to work on his conditioning .. dude was huffin and puffin round 8, also it's evident he has a lot of trouble with a taller/longer reach fighter. Vitali would crush him under 5 rounds imo.

You'da thought he would have learned his lesson. Conditioning played a role in his embarrassing loss to Demtrice King.
