I watched this fight twice and thought it could have went either way. Lets not get carried away here neither fighter dominated the fight and it was a close fight and no a highway robbery. Matthyse didn't knock down Alexander several times and beat him to the punch the whole night and vise versa.I knew if this was gonna be a close fight then some "haters" were gonna say robbery. A rematch is fine with me.

This is just one of those fights that if you just watch the fight and didnt score it round by round then you thought Lucas won by a landslide! But you have to score fights round by round and it was close.

It was not a close fight. Matthssye dominated 4 rounds...round 4, 7, 8, 10. And he won 3 other rounds pretty clear.

You have to give Alexander every benefit of the doubt for him to lose 95-94.

For one judge to give Matthssye only 3 rounds (When Matthssye dominated 4) means he was paid off. They had it in cards for Alexander to win before the fight started.

    Robbery all the way.

Bottom line it was a close fight and it's dumb as **** to hear all the "robbery" and "clear victory" bull****. It's the kind of fight that if "your guy" lost you would **** and moan, but the reality is it was really close.

This ****ing dumb **** over and over again

If it wasn't a robbery then how come everybody knew who was going to win on the cards before it was even annouced? Is the average boxing fan psychic?

No, the average fan just knows how this **** works. The outcome was pre-determined, in other words it was a robbery.

Close has nothing to do with it. Almost every boxing match at this level is "close", unless there's a KO. That can't be used as a fig leaf for scorecards that are fixed.

I don't think it was a "robbery". My personal opinion is they probably were even going into the last round and i think Matthyse won the 10th which on my scorecard would give him a 1 point win. I think where the robbery aspect is coming out is the 96-93 card in favor of Alexander. If it was 95-94, 95-94 and the 93-96 for Lucas you probably don't hear quite as much complaining.
