Here is how I scored Alexander-Mathysse after watching this fight a third time.......

How is that not a robbery for alexander to get the win.. By your own card you have two rounds that could go either way, 1&6. You gave the 6th to Alexander, so let's say you give him the 1st too. Then the best he could get was a draw... So that means it couldn't have went either way, thus making it a robbery.. If one guy clearly wins, close or not, and doesn't get the descision, then it's a robbery.

Besides, the fact that was a 10-round fight to begin with (yet another card stacked against Matthyse in this fight), by necessity means the difference in rounds won is going to be that much smaller.

 

I had it 95-94 Alexander but I can see a similar score for Matthysse. This was no highway robbery at all. Even the HBO telecast concur on that.

 

I think Merchant pretty much said it was a Robbery without overtly saying it. Even Jones knew he got a gift, but he's classier and always likes to defend the fighters and give them all credit.

No ****ing way Alexander won rounds 5 and 6. Lucas landed the telling blows while all Devon did was grunt and punch a 3 or 4 punch combo that even a 70 year old Granny can take atschatschatsch

 

I really don't see how you got that score. Even if you give Alexander 6 of the 10 rounds. It's a draw. How did you score the rounds?

The only rounds I could give Matthysse is 4 , 7, 8, 10. The 4th as a big round a knockown. The clear rounds for Alexander were 1-3, 9. The 5th and 6th rounds were close but I gave them to Alexander cause of his activity rate.

Not sure where Devon goes from here, he's struggled and arguably lost to every top tier he's been in with.

 

I gave it to LM 97-94. Though I could see someone giving it 95-94 to LM or 98-91 LM.

 

6-4 with a KD is 95-94...... Learn how to count before you want to have an opinion.

And the fight was in no wayyyy a robbery is was a close close fight that couldve went either way.
