Which was the better win: LEWIS vs Tyson or CALZAGHE vs Hopkins?

    The only way you could pick Lewis vs Tyson is if you thought Calzaghe didn't beat Hops, I suppose. :think

    Hopkins was the top light heavy at the time and he is the top light heavy now. Joes win has to be considered better.

    Only have to see Hopkins career after that night to see how good that win has become. Whether you felt he won it or not he got the 'W' and it's a better win then Lewis battering Tyson who was finished long while before that night.

    Lewis v Tyson for me, it was far more conclusive. Even if that Lewis fought that Tyson hundred times, Lewis would win. So in that sense easier win for Lewis, but it was the win that solidified his legacy.

    The same can't be said for calzaghe. He need Kessler, bhop and shot rjj to solidify his legacy. Bhop fight IMO was not very conclusive. If bhop v calzaghe II occurred and calzaghe won conclusively, that would better lewis' win because his win would be against a more capable opponent.

    Calzaghe beat a higher level opponent, but Lewis won in dominant style.

    Tyson was over the hill when Lewis fought him...........way over the hill........
