I was in Primm NV and after the main event, was shariff what's his name, (the guy who comes in as a lion on his head) in the swingbout

Me and my cousin snuck down to sit "RINGSIDE". The ushers didn't care since everyone had left and thought there would be no more boxing matches.

Its f'n electrifying. You get to hear and feel each punch like a mortar round. The gross part is the spit and sweat that flys all over the place.

 

I've only seen Cotto Pacquiao live. And also ringside at a Showtime fight featuring Chris Avalos on the main card and local here Archie Ray Marquez on the undercard. Hopefully i'll be able to make it to Mayweather Ortiz. Now that is going to be special

Which rows lets you be closest to the prizefighters without getting spit, sweat, and blood flying onto you?

there's the row where the camera guys, judges,commentating crew sit.,. that's not an actual 'official' row.

THen they usually give like 5 foot gap before ringside seats. that's where you see the people in the bacground.

**** flys far at any given moment. So I sat in the FIRST row behind the judges. I was a target.

the camera angle from where he was sitting..I would think that no blood gets that far.

I see you got stuck behind the ringposts. That's why I almost never buy ringside for big fights anymore, all the good ringside seats are gone before the tickets ever go public.

 

ringpost views are the worst. EVEN when you're not sitting ringside.

 

I was Close at Pavlik vs. Rubio, and noticed a couple things. 1st, it's much different to look UP at the fight. On TV it's almost always from atleast slightly overhead.

Second, in the main event and everybody stands up, you can only see the upper bodies and not what's goin' on with the foot works. I wasn't wild about this.

Your best bet is to get in the stands, but only one level up from ringside. You're still close as hell and you can see everything with an unobstructed view. The only value to ringside anymore is so you can say 'I was ringside!', which I have done a few times lol... I know I'm gonna go home and watch the fight again on TV anyway (to see if I'm on TV) but I get to come to ESB and brag about ringside
