What heavyweight from any era would you compare David Hayes style too?

I could easily imagine David Haye biting Wlad's ear, though.

 

There is no semblance of Roy Jones Jr. in David Haye.


He is pretty unique as far as heavy's go though. he has good speed for a heavy, but it seems to get massively overrated. Very good power. Decent skill set.


Regardless of how good he is and which direction his career will ultimately turn, one thing is for sure, he is a very dynamic boxer for his size.

 

Herbie Hyde.. Speed power and glass jaw.

But Hyde actually held a legit title.
Hayes is completely meaningless that belonged to chagaev

I see alot of fighters who are influenced by Roy Jones just the like Jones mustve been influences by the likes of Leonard.

 

Herbie Hide is what I compared him with since the hype began.
Differences are, Hide fought a lot more regurlairy, hit even harder and had an even worse chin.

The rest very, very simular... carbon copy if you like.

 

Well, for the point you are trying to make, and in comparison, yes, they are fast for their size, but that is all I can really see that's comparable between the two. But even then, Roy Jones was insanely fast, and would have been ridiculously fast for a bantam let alone a middle-LHW, whereas Haye's speed would only be considered at the top for HW's and Cruisers. In that respect Haye is a **** POOR version of RJJ.

 

Haye might agree with this:
