Anyone else see certain similarities between the Argentine and the Road Warrior?

Neither has a flashy style that catches the imagination of the judges, both walk their men down, Slowly applying preassure, which as we've seen, gives judges the chance to take a close fight away from you.

    Thoughts?

Ha, very true actually. Very methodical, unflinching, neutralize combos, and never fall for feints.

LM might not punch as hard as Maidana but he doesn't leave himself open as much. He'd be a big threat to Khan. He did seem to gas a bit though.

He's got only two fights at top level and lost them both but still those losses made him to be one of the top fighters of whole division.. Kinda funny thing and you don't see that too often.. And his tuneup against Corley was a beast one. And as many other believes: There should be zero losses in his record..

I would argue that he punches harder than Maidana.

He's a hard puncher, but he DID legit lose to Judah, and I had Alexander by a point.

He doesn't have power enough to stop Judah or Alexander, and he's not that great of a boxer.. he lacks a certain killer instinct, and he's not as high energy as Johnson, that's for sure.

He's kind of frustrating, because he had Alexander ready to go in the 7th or 8th, and really let him off the hook... he did a **** job of cutting off the ring, and too many times he just let Alexander out of the ropes or corner without really punishing him. Alexander is not a puncher, but at times he seemed wary of getting hit none-the-less.

I'm not really impressed, a better fighter beats a past-prime Judah and a B-Level Alexander.

Matthysse beat Alexander and he beat Judah, he is undefeated, the judges were just crooks............really bad crooks...............
