I know it's probably been answered a 100 times already but what was Atlas's problem with Foreman (other than him being Moorer's opponent)?

Teddy is a super intense guy ... he lives by his own rules, is true to them but has trouble sometimes realizing that they might not be the same for everyone ... He has been known to get into fistfights with his own fighters ... his rep is that he was never afraid of anyone in the street, a true lunatic ...

Foreman got into his head during the tour for the Moorer fight and Teddy started to lose it one day .. he seriously was trying to or about to get in Foreman's face at a press conference ... what cracks me up is Foreman's reaction ... he thought the situation so absurd he did not even get up but had to hold back a laugh .. very lucky for Teddy it ended there ...

Does anyone have any of the footage after the first Bowe-Golata fight when Foreman talks down some of the wild mob about to attack the HBO crew ? I remember Lampley pissing in his pants as Foreman basically saved them all from getting their heads handed to them ... it was after that event that Lampley stopped treating Foreman as a buffoon in the booth and showed him some respect ...

Wasn't Foreman incredibly disrespectful to Moorer throughout the build-up?

Not that I saw ... Foreman was playing the same game they were .. psyche out the the guy ... Foreman was never one to talk b.s. about an opponent in his second career ..

He was getting into Michael's head and Atlas picked up on it right away, which is why he got so pissed. He was pissed because he knew Foreman was already gaining an advantage in the fight and flipped out partially because he was pissed, and partially to disrupt Foreman's process of gaining a pyschological edge over Moorer.

Yeah i watched all the 'Legendary nights' the other week.
Teddy was being Teddy, and George acted with class as usual.
"Go get me a sandwich".

In his youth, Foreman carried himself in gruff and intimidating fashion. (from 1 minute forward)

    [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WL7KnkWWXbQ[/ame]

When he came back, he was the jolly friendly uncle. But still, when pressured with a difficult question or even when commentating for HBO, you'll notice he doesn't like being questioned. I'd guess Atlas was trying to provoke George here into showing the world what a mean guy he was underneath, how it was all a facade. Didn't work in the least, though.

    I'll always remember that...

Foreman: "Don't do it, son, don't do it"...

I always thought I wouldn't want to be the guy Foreman was talking to like that.

Sometimes I wonder how Teddy managed to live this long. Dumb luck?
