    Happened once already mate in Argentina in front of only 12 people. Maidana won the 1st one.

    Im gonna go with Matthysse by UD if scored correctly. Id be rooting for Maidana to win though. This fight needs to be made.

    Yes. Maidana won a tight decision, 3 rounds to 2 to qualify for the Argentine Olympic team. That was almost eight years ago.

    This is what i had in mind too, but i do think the fight makes it to the distance in an unforgiving war which sees Matthysee get the decision, and him hurting Maidana to the body throughout the fight.

    I'd love to see this. Hopefully Guerrero, who I think will beat Maidana, doesn't take away the shine in demand for this fight. It'll be huge amongst boxing fans.

    Maidana lands more punches per round but Matthysse lands the cleaner blows. Both guys score a knockdown.

    Three times. Two Maidana wins, one draw.

    Their most famous meeting was the Maidana win to get on the national team, which was performed in front of only a dozen people.
