    i get what your saying but i guess they only got in the ring for the payday they didn't have the fight go on any longer then it had to, to get the payday. If a fighter was in trouble I dont think billy would hesitate to throw in a towel

    P.S.. 'What might have happened' doesn't seem irrelevant in the Kirby/Meehan outcome..
