I recently moved to another region and there are no boxing clubs. Does USA boxing allow people to compete in matches if they don't belong to a gym?
Some old ass dude just KO´d a young prospect and he was working out in his garage. Looked like a beast.
The flip side of this though is that if there are no clubs, how will you get opponents / get matched?
I was part of gym here, but the first one I was a part of closed down. Then, the other one I just joined closed down. Just crappy luck I guess. This has really lifted my spirits, I was really worried I couldn't box. That's impressive I know some people that could tell me when and where there would be matches. Thanks guys
Can you really do this or is it different in the UK? over here you have to fight under a clubs name which i have known to be arranged as favours from time to time but is rarely done, you usually have to join the club for them to card and match you.
I was unattached, and you get matches by calling clubs and stuff to see if they have a show or something
