    Update: Haye: 213lbs, Wlad: 242lbs

These two recent shirtless videos of Haye make me believe he will weigh-in very light in relative terms. Haye looks lighter than he did at 210lbs for his bout with Fraudley Harrison (8 months ago), so i suspect he might be as light as 205lbs. This makes me think Haye will be looking to quickly run & pot-shot as fast as he can on his toes against Wlad, like what he did in the Valuev fight but more nimble. Hopefully he will throw far more punches though, because his extremely low workrate he used against Valuev would ensure faliure certain against Wlad. Do you think this is a good idea for Haye to weigh-in light & try to narrowly out-point Wlad? It barely worked against an Old Valuev. Would you rather Haye had chose a more solid 222lbs of muscle like he was for Ruiz, & went for the kill from the opening bell? :think

Haye might be 200-205lbs at the weigh-in this Friday.

Of course he's gonna run and pot shot. He knows he can't win if he stands there and trades with Wlad. It'll be Valuev Part 2. It was easy to do that against Valuev though, one of the slowest heavyweights around. Wlad is quicker than people give him credit for. I think he'll try the pot shot tactic and get caught at some point. KO win for Wlad.

    I agree with you. :verysad

Even with Haye being lighter than he was for Valuev & training harder, these tactics have basically no hope of success. Haye barely won against Valuev, when i watched it live, me & my mates thought Valuev had won, a feeling helped by the unofficial Sky Sports scorecard, which had Valuev as the winner. Granted, the Compubox stats show that Haye deserved the decision, but only by a narrow margin. Wlad will comfortably out-box Haye with his jab, & may finally go for the KO with his "Steelhammer" in the 12th, as he promised.

The "run ***** run!" approach isn't going to work against Wlad, plus he will be even more off balance by the jab the lighter he's going to be.

No reason to really do that unless he is going to try and last the distance. I see another Valuev-esque marathon on our hands.:rofl:patsch

I would rather Haye weighed-in a solid 222lbs aprox as he did for the Ruiz fight. Then i would tell Haye to lead with bombs from the opening bell, & make him watch fights like "Tyson-Bruno II". Running & pot-shotting is bad practice against Wlad. Also, you cannot win with defensive counter-punching against Wlad, just ask Byrd & Chambers. You must lead with your punches against Wlad, sitting back & trying to counter him will never work.

I hope for a stoppage but I really don't care as long as Wladimir wins and we see the last of Mr Haye.

I think it's a great idea that he's coming in light, and I don't believe this suggests he will try to "run" and potshot his way to victory. Whether he comes in light or not, I believe he has the power to trouble Wlad...coming in as light and as fast as possible could enable him to land on Wlad.

    He looks overtrained, and fleshy...:huh

I am sure they are aware of this and have prepared for it if Haye tries to run and pot shot the whole fight.

i am rally thinking this fight shold be wk-360/haye+300. if they fight three times under these exact circumstances(germany/both prepared) does haye win one out of three?
