I say Bradley. Hes much more patient in the ring, not only can he brawl and pressure, but he can box very well when needed. Great stamina and consistency, chin, heart, speed, power was the only weakness, but hes such a great, determined fighter thats not even much of an issue. Bradley, Khan, and Matheysse obviously the top 3.
knowing that Pacquiao could make that weight and knowing Marquez could be good at that weight also i say them two for me come first but if you asking for the best fighter at that weight right now its got to be Bradley just over Khan.
yeah along with bantam, feather and 168. Do you think any of the guys will have a good career above 140? maybe khan and guerrero.
And Bradley is a ducker, tell that small guy King Khan is looking for him. Khan is too big, too fast for little Bradley and that's what Bradley knew deep inside that he can't beat Khan.
I think khan will but this means he would use his current tactic to greater extent so he will become boring to watch He would not risk his chin... Although he his chin is not terrible he took ALOT from maidana ! Thanks guys! Great reaction to my first thread
1. Alexander - only one to have beat 2 top 5 140'ers. 2. Bradley - undefeated, decent competition 3. Khan - very good but still has a lot to prove. Would have been ko'd if not for his buddy Cortez. 4. Maidana - beat a top WW and hung tough with Khan, Kotelnik, Cayo (very underrated). 5. Kotelnik - only outclassed by Khan.
Hmm even if cortez did not do what he did khan may have been knocked down but got up again and ran for the round ! Khan was great in my opinion !
To have beaten 2 top 4 140'ers??? BEATEN? He was awarded decisions over 2 top 5 140'ers. He did NOT "beat" them. :nono
A true champion is the who comes back stronger, not a fake champion who protects his 0 and ducks the other top fighter in his division.
I too at first thought LM had won it but remember that those judges are professionals. After rewatching the fight several times I concluded that DA won a close but very comfortable decision. Now that he's essentially cleaned out the LWW division, how do you fancy his chances as a WW? I say he takes Ortiz easy, matches up very well with FM though I don't know if he could win it, and goes to war with both Berto and Pac.
