What does Hopkins has to do to be ranked above Joe Calzaghe?

in reality nothing. because no matter what Hopkins does they will be biased and therefore irrelevant. any fair fan will tell you Hopkins passed him along time ago and just continues to build his legacy.

 

Nothing, he already is. However, I would love to hear form those who do believe that. Guessing Failey and Headgiver are of that state of mind. Seeing as they share one.

Most people who feel that Hopkins is below Calzaghe are the same people who have this ridiculous philosophy that everything Hopkins accomplishes somehow enhances Calzaghe's own legacy. Which means, in theory, even if Hopkins moved to heavyweight and knocked out both Klitschkos he would still be below Calzaghe because he lost to him.

 

He'd have to entice Sugar Joe out of retirement and thrash him, only it would backfire badly and Calzaghe would embarrass him again.

 

What's wrong with saying they are pretty equal on status? Why does one guy have to be always above the other?

 

Was that a reply to me? I didn't say there was anything wrong with saying they're equal. I'm saying people who believe Hopkins will NEVER be ranked above Joe because he lost to Joe are ridiculous.

 

Rumour has it Joes on the comeback and first thing hes going to do is beat Hopkins good and proper, so hop can accomplish all he wants it may mean something to him but he cant accomplish beating a white guy.
