Neumann!!!??? Are you ****ing serious? He's the most crooked and incompetent referee on the planet, tho there is a lot of stiff competition these days.

 

Holding is not illegal.

"Not all forms of holding are illegal. Due to the nature of the sport, boxers often get entangled or end up holding each other after an exchange of punches. Such incidental holds aren't illegal. The referee will simply step between the two fighters and separate them before restarting the action. Holding only becomes illegal when a fighter holds intentionally to gain an undeserved advantage or when he refuses to break on the referee's command."

Neumann is such a grouch and doesn't take bs, I love it. He's had so many fights, he's bound to have a bad performance here and there. I don't think he's crooked, just moody. Lately, I've liked Jack Reiss' work quite a bit.

 

Neuman used to be a perennial contender for NJ heavyweight champ along with Chuck Wepner. He now owns a financial company in NJ and launders money for the boxing mobsters and politicians. He is always thoroughly incompetent and trying to make himself the center of attention and trying to give the house fighter the advantage. I'd like to know why Andrew Golota was always saddled with that crooked *******. Why didn't his corner protest? I remember how George Foreman (who used to be the ONLY honest tv announcer) became outraged at Neuman's biased refereeing in the (bizarre) Golota-Grant fight.

 

Rodriguez isn't no-name he's done plenty of title fights.

He's little known on the big stage. Why not get someone who inspires an air of confidence and objectivity? You think Haye and his camp would dare to complain if this was Bayless or Smoger?

 

Chicago-based (knew that) and does a lot of big fights in Germany. Looks like he's a WBO ref.

 

He's done plenty of title fights, Haye is going to find something to complain about no matter what. There's also the issue of the refs having to be licensed/able to ref in Germany which Rodriguez is.

 

He's done A LOT of fights. To be honest I don't remember him, but in the case of referees that is a good thing because the ref's job is to keep the fight going and honest and keep himself out of the spotlight (the opposite of Randy Neuman who everybody remembers!).

 

I'm not a Wlad fan and yes holding is illegal. But it's not as dangerous as rabbit punching on the back of the head. Ruiz barely holds but yet Haye still did rabbit punching many times in which are illegal. Rabbit punching can cause a concussion. But yet you think rabbit punching are ok huh? But yea again holding is illegal but it's not worse then rabbit punching.

 

So the **** what smdh. Don't accuse Haye of ****, and act like Wlad fights squeaky clean.
