I don't think they are way off. The author picks Ali, Holmes, and Tyson. Wlad could certainly beat Holyfield who had issues with bigger skilled fighters, Frazier who was one dimensional and did not have the best chin in the world, and Norton who did poorly vs punchers.

The Foreman call might shock some, but look-- The best two boxers Foreman fought were Ali and Young, and they defeated him without a half the power Wald has. Lyle almost beat Foreman too. Foreman was a big puncher, but poor on stamina, defense, and ring smarts.

Frazier and Norton were better than Young and you know it.

Not to mention Foreman was severely dehydrated for Young and nearly died shortly thereafter, of course. :hey

Foreman could probably take a few big shots from Wlad, could Wlad take them from George?
If Haye pulls off the upset on Saturday ,those predictions of Wlad beating Evander, and George, not to mention Smokin Joe ,are going to look pretty foolish, imo.
Personally ,I think an average Heavyweight Champ like Bowe gives Wlad life and death.

Severe doubts about Wlad's ability to deal with infighters with actual skill, meaning Holyfield and Frazier. Huge weight advantage, but where's the infighter killing skillset? Wlad's inside game and uppercut aren't exactly great.

Bowe was not average and would have stopped Klitschko.

Yeah I don't think he beats Holy. Holyfield has the pop, skills, and heart to beat Wlad. Frazier would pressure wlad and get inside the jab. Foreman would not be stopped in a few rounds. thats just wrong.

I think he was an average Heavyweight Champ, he is outside my top 15.
If he is in your top 15 ,you would not agree .

Bowe was extremely talented and was technically better than Lewis. At age 26 he was better than the great Larry Holmes at the same age. His career was not as great as Holmes or Lewis but he would have destroyed Wladimir Klitshcko that much is clear.
