Sounds about right.Yet chauncy caries on like he cant get the 'bigger fights' with meehan, tua and leapai
i'd be srprised if chauncy didn't take a fight with alex. although alex might be a bit too low for chauncy to take such a fight. won't help his ranking, but its a payday i suppose.
Alex being rated too low doesn't wash when you look at his recent opposition. Hardly the who's who of the Heavyweights.
Your joking right? Leapai on boxrec in #27 and Welliver is ranked # 89 Welliver has not had a fight against any1 ranked in the top 150 other than solis who cleaned him up.. Leapai has fought much, much better opposition his last few opponents in wilson walker and beck have fought for world titles or been in eliminators.
have a look at the wbo and wbc rankings bud. who is higher? boxrec rankings? lol, u kidding yeah? i didn't say chauncy had fought better fighters.
boxrec is pound for pound rankings budi is it not?,wbo?wbc? why coz his defending his petty regional belts against C level journey men!
So I take it you are new to the whole concept of building a fight, seeing how much interest it can generate before sitting down to negotiate things....
i don't give a flying f how he got the rankings, the fact is chauncy is higher in the rankings. i'm right, your wrong
I think you are using the wrong expression there mate. Pound for pound is the way comparisons are make between fighters of different weights. Not comparisons within the one weight division.
bottom line..1)Leapai Meehan an Tua would beat Welliver. 2)Leapai Meehan and Tua have fought better opposition then Welliver. 3)Finally and most importantly in the boxing world,Leapai Meehan and Tua would put more bums on seats and make more dosh for promoters then Welliver. ok Welliver is ranked in the wbc wbo bla bla,but realisticly, whos going to get a title shot first? -re 3)
Yeah I saw your reason of leapai being too low in the rankings....just so you know Chauncy doesn't fight guys in the rankings
