It's worrying Audley has come out with a more incisive comment than most people on here. Wlad can't land the right hand without landing the jab, and he isn't going to land the jab easily. David Haye can land a right hand or a left hook from anywhere. I still can't believe people think David Haye is going to be there getting his head jabbed off and set up for a big right early in the fight. No chance.

I thought it was a good read and there were enough different people in it.

    ****** wasn't really a shock though!!!

Audley is actually very good at breaking fights down. I heard him once before and was quite impressed. He would probably make a good analyst as long as he can leave his ego out of it.

Have you ever seen Wlad land a lead right?

im still puzzling on this. Will haye come out like he did with harrison first round an not even throw a punch, will wlad be that focussed on not showing he has been wound up by the comments and not come rushing out , throwin little himself?
Or the opposite, wlad comes out fired up to **** and gets caught flush with big over hand right?.........At mo im thinking david mvoing about first couple of rounds, not throwing much, at some point he see a gap and go for broke, possibly getting countered himself, heavily.
    Cant ****in wait for this.:happy:happy

It won't matter if Wlad can't land the jab easily. He won't be expecting to. As long as he controls the distance and keeps Haye off him for long enough he'll take over the fight, eventually start to land more as the fight progresses and either cruise out a decision win or stop Haye if he blows himself out or gets reckless.

    ****ing right.

Though some of us don't let little things like morals get in the way.:good

To be honest I have never been able to make up my mind on wether steward is a good guy or not. Once heard an aweful thing about him and McClellan.

This logic works fine until David Haye lands a punch. Hell even if he lands half a punch. And he will. Then suddenly you're going to see a change of mindset where he's not getting a lot of success, he's not comfortable and he's one of those fighters thats desperate for rhythm and to feel comfy, and he's also just been hit with a massive punch. Wladimir hasn't faced much adversity and he doesn't deal with it well.

Audley isn't a stupid bloke he's just an awful pro boxer! I've no doubt he knows his onions as you don't win Olympic gold by accident.

TYSON FURY - British heavyweight contender

Haye's getting KOd, definitely. I can see Klitschko putting him down three or four times before the ref stops it. Haye is fast as lightning but he's a small heavyweight who has got no chin - and we all know what happens to people with no chin. In the heavyweight game if you don't have a chin you get knocked out, it's that simple.

If you leave Klitschko to his own game he'll jib-jab around the ring all night. But if you put him under pressure - constant pressure - and show you're not scared of getting hit, you've got a chance.

I think Bernard Hopkins has a little more knowledge than Tyson Fury though ;)

If Wlad can't land his jab then he'll start panicking. Landing the jab gives him confidence so Haye needs to be spot on with his defence early on. If Wlad can't land the jab we're not going to see him lead with the right hand or the left hook, he doesn't take risks like that.

IMO, it's Haye's fight early and the longer it goes the more it favours Wlad. Haye needs to land something substantial in the first couple of rounds, get Wlad's attention and keep making him miss.

And that's why this is such a close fight that is really hard to call. It's easy to see how either can win and it could come down to just who's better on the night. Whoever wins is gonna have to show something they haven't before.

Can Wlad keep that tight defence and ring control against someone as fast, focused and as determined as Haye will likely be? And likewise, can Haye keep his cool and box to his own script and hurt Wlad.
