if it stops 2 robots dominating the division then thats good.

if is stops the klits dishing out slave contracts as though they are a tag team then that is good.

Alot of fighters talk early retirement how many of them actually follow through? History proves that it doesnt usually happen right away. So I dont expect Haye to retire though he says he will, Hopkins made the same promise to his own dead mother that he would retire...
And had he lived up to that promise he would never have broken Foremans record. a fighter must either have it beaten out of him or have his goals fullfilled before we see him retire...
if the true Heavyweight Championship has meet his criteria then I guess there is nothing left for him to prove, But I think Haye wants those belts unified before he retires so I dont expect him to retire just yet.

However Haye winning is good for boxing, it puts Wlad on the back burner for a bit and gives us a smaller guy who is going to seem pretty vunerable in against todays heavies...
Not only that, But Haye does have something about him about his attitude that just makes you want to watch him fight weather in support of him or in support of seeing him beat..
Either way I wont say its bad for boxing becuase it opens up more opportunitys not just for Vitali, but for Adamek and Haye to mix it up as well.....

because he can then fight Vitali to establish a new lineage, while Wlad and Vitali will never fight

Because, unlike Wlad, he's able to generate interest in a division that's stale. Few wish to see Wlad fight (like a *****) against opponents who he invariably has significant advantages over.

Vitali, on the other hand, is a manevolent beast of a fighter who Haye would do best to stay well clear of if he gets past Wlad on Saturday; he would walk Haye down whilst absorbing Hayes bombs en route to unleashing a hellacious barrage of punches that very well might be fateful.

It's one thing to dislike Haye for his trash talking but many fail to realise that it is this, primarily, that has made this fight intriging and has captured public interest. When's the last time anyone waited with anticipation for a Wlad fight?

And one last thing, for all you keyboard tapping, never been in the ring or faced physical adversity mother f*****s, I hope that you're humble and gracious enough to give Haye the props he deserves (post fight) for taking and making this fight the spectacle that the heavyweight division deserves.

When this bum gets knocked out the American(black) fans will call him another bum. Wlad is the best HW since Ali.

There's a good chance that a Vitali fight will happen should Haye beat Waldimir. But even then, I'm not convinced it would be that good for the sport. At best, it'll ignite interest for a few months, and that's it. Because Haye will still go into retirement and the division will go back to being what it was. I mean, this so-called HW excitement won't even last past the end of this year!

David haye doesn't give a **** about legacy, HW division state and HW division future..all he cares about is money, money and money.

All his fights in the HW division up until this moment have been carefully and specifically planed so that he could cash in as much as possible.
He and his team played their cards well; they avoided the hard and long road, managed to win a belt from a mediocre fighter and for 2 years they milked the klitschko name to gain popularity.
Now he will cash in his career highest paycheck and then retire.

Given his interviews on his intentions for the future, anyone who thinks that Haye winning this fight is good for the division is either ******ed or british.....or both.

why? it's simple isn't it. You can't have one champion if the klits are holding the belts, that's why it's better if haye beats wladimir so then you can have one fight agianst him and vitali for every legit belt.

simple isn't it unless you're thick.

I can save you the trouble easy.
Even before the fight I can tell you that Haye is a bum. In fact, I can safely say that Vlad is an even bigger bum, both literally and figuraviely. This **** is as good as these two bums can get...and that's the dirty rotten shame. :yep

To me its nothing more than more talk to try and get under the K's skin. It's all bull**** coming out of this guy's mouth. He put himself into a no win situation by saying Wlad is a bum and has only been fighting bums.
So what does that mean for him win or lose? In his logic if he wins he just beat a robot bum, if he loses he's just another bum that Wlad beat, a fat pudding who showed up for a paycheck. Seems he painted himself in a corner there.
I don't think he's the savior of the HW division at all. But it does make the lead up to this fight exciting, I will give Haye that. But that doesn't change the fact that he should lose this fight pretty handily.
The HW division has a lot of recovering to do in reality, and this fight will not change that no matter who wins.
The K bros will likely dominate the division for another few years. True division recovery probably will not happen until another Tyson like figure or Ali is unearthed. It might be a while.
