I remember seeing Taylor at the airport at Berlin after his KO loss and felt bad for him. I talked to him for a minute but didn't feel like asking for a pic given the circumstances. Also if I remember well ESPN was saying that he stayed at a hospital in Berlin 2 nights which was real bull**** bc on the next day of the fight he was heading to Paris for a vacation with his family. Wish him all the best at MW!! He's already close to the weight so that's a sign of how dedicated he will be for his return.

August 13, in Little Rock. He will return to 160 and will be working with Pat Burns in his corner. Not sure of opponent but will pass on when I get more info.

I'm a big fan of Taylor and hope this comeback goes well. I'm not convinced he is a shot fighter and I think the 2 year layoff may have done him some good. I'd still keep him away from big punchers as long as I could though.

I'm unsure on moving back to 160. If he can do it than fine but I thought there were weight concerns several years ago and now he is older so we'll see. 160 is wide open and give him a couple wins and we could see a Martinez-Taylor fight for the title in a year or so, unless their HBO and Showtime contracts get in the way.

Sergio Martinez has to be a happy guy right now. He had two future big paydays in Kirkland and Lemiuex get pushed back for a while after they both lost and Chavez will never fight him so he's stuck facing guys like Barker. Now, if alll goes well, Taylor is a big money fight down the line. Being Taylor's August fight is possibly going to Showtime it would seem that he's not taking on a complete nobody and actually facing a semi-live opponent. Hope thats the right call, but thats one of the reasons I've always liked Taylor-he constantly fights the best.

He may get KO'd again, that is possible, but he'll do so like a warrior and like a champion. He will fight anyone, anytime, and Sergio Martinez should be concerned.

Him and Martinez would be a great fight.

Any idea who will be promoting him?

No, let me make some calls and I'll see what I can find out, I'm also curious of possible opponents. I don't expect it to be anyone worth a damn necessarily, but I'm still curious. I'll post back when I hear something...

JT is walking around at 165 right now and looks great, also I'm not sure what would make you think that Martinez is any better than the Hopkins that Jermain beat twice. The Williams stoppage has given some people the impression that Martinez is some kind of huge puncher, he's not...hence I would have no reservations in picking Jermain to beat Martinez a year from now.

i wouldn't reaslly wish to see him fight Martinez, not that he wouldn't make a decent fight of it......I just think he would take a lot of punishment.

Obvioully I can see him beating the Jr's of the division, but I don't now that he would get a fight like that. I just don't want to see JT getting KOd again.
