Everyone acts like boxing is this manly and exciting sport while MMA is this homoerotic sport. I find clinches to be the most ****ing boring thing and you'll see them more in boxing. So one sport two guys are hugging it out and another two guys are scrambling on the floor. One is gay, one is not. Right-o, homosexual favouritism.

Well yeah, the guy was igniting a ****ing fire for pro boxing fans to jump all over a sport they refuse to understand. It really annoys me when people have these smallminded idiotic opinions and just can't say "It's not for me" or "I don't get it" instead of continuing this whole homosexual bull**** onwards. It's an actual fight. When you've got professionals, trained in submissions who are trained to go the distance and not get their handbags out, this is what happens. Tactics in fights sometimes go to places people don't find exciting. And even if they do go to the ground, it doesn't mean it can't be entertaining, Diaz vs. Sanchez was awesome. We don't like to see Lay n Pray as much as anyone else does, but that's all the criticism it ****ing gets.

And hell, if you don't think it's entertaining and don't like the ground game, try K1. Otherwise, stop shitting on things and making it Boxing vs. MMA because you don't have to pick a side. How often do you see Baseball vs. Football threads? Just enjoy your sport and stop trying to find an ultimate or a inferiority.

It was decent. A great comeback but hardly better than Castillo-Corrales or any other great Boxing or even great MMA fight.

 

The sad thing is boh guys are meant to have elite technique in MMA. Barry is a decent kickboxer but it's so sloppy.

 

I dont know why people keep comparing MMA to boxing & vice versa... they are different sports that require different skill sets.

This MMA fight was far too short to put beside Castillo/Corrales anyway... this MMA fight would not make my top 10 MMA fights, Corrales/Castillo 1 does however make my boxing top 10.... Morales/Barrera 1 beats it hands down tho
