It's a shame Liddell's last few fights have made people forget what a badass he was. He even recovered extremely fast after Jardine rocked him, but by that time the damage was done, and the blueprint was laid for Rashad.
Also, for all wandy's accomplishments, Tito manhandled him for 4 of 5 rds. I'm just saying Tito was no slouch and Chuck owned him. Randy was the master strategist and only got Chuck the first time they fought. Pele was a bad dude, Overeem, left hook Randleman ko, out striking Belfort

Belfort also destroyed wandy. Chuck also beat wand, they both were past their primes but it still counts...somewhat. Fans tend to do this after a fighter takes bad losses at the end of their career, people question weather or not they were good in the first place. By the time many rediscover how incredible chucks career was in a few years, Jones my just eclipse liddell's legacy.

Is anyone under 240lbs a light-heavyweight to you???

This is a pretty stupid post.

BJ Penn was a better lightweight and a better fighter than Takanori Gomi, and his record at ww in the UFC is 2-3-1. Of course the weight class makes a difference, obviously the weight class makes a difference, otherwise what would be the point in even having weight classes, we'd just have Jose Aldo fight Jon Jones and be done with it (how many UFC fighters have won titles in 2 different weight classes since UFC1 in 1993? Er, would that be a whole 2 fighters? :deal).

And FYI, Rocky Marciano's weight was never low enough for him to fight at light-heavyweight in boxing, not even once. The lowest he ever weighed near the start of his career was 178, and the lhw limit in boxing is 175. For the vast majority of his career he was around 185-190, which was the cruiserweight limit up until the 2000s.

And of course, saying Marciano was a lhw fighting at hw is doubly silly, because the average weight of his opponents was probably around 190-200lbs, very slightly heavier than him, it's not as if he was a 175lbs lhw fighting 240-250lbs monsters like the Klitschkos and Lennox Lewis. Marciano's most high-profile wins were over Archie Moore (188lbs), Ezzard Charles (185lbs 1st fight & 192lbs 2nd fight) and Jersey Joe Walcott (196-197lbs).
