I wonder what they call this era if the 80s were weak. What an idiotic thread.

The same HOLMES that beat the **** outta a PRIME and UNBEATEN Mercer 4 years later? Remember, a 41 YEAR OLD MERCER is Wlad's BEST WIN.

Weak. People overrate the early/mid 80s.

It probably isn't. In fact it definitely isn't. The Holmes Tyson beat was obviously still ultra-useful though, as you've correctly shown.

    You're right.

Holmes was 4 YEARS OLDER! Yet he still beat the **** outta WLAD's best win (an OLD MAN), in his PRIME!!!

    You stupid mother ****er.

IMO, the Tyson era is one of the more stronger heavyweight eras. The titlebelt holders were established champions.

    This i'll agree to

If you think that Holmes was Wlad's best win, then there's no hope for you. I was aware that you were a complete ****** before I initially quoted you. My mistake.

James Toney was P4P the best when Roy beat him...

james toney is one of the most over-rated fighters ever. even in his prime toney was drawing with sanderline williams and having life and death split decision struggles with dave tiberi, sosa, and reggie johnson as well as getting his ass kicked off thadzi and midget griffin.

toney is that over-rated that his fans feel the need to big up victories against iran barkley and eurobum jirov - ****ing desperate :deal

Either Sam Peter, Tony Thompson or Eddie Chambers - they were fighters on the way up, as opposed to Mercer who did nothing worthwhile directly before or after the Wlad fight.

EDIT: McCline and especially Byrd were better than the above....

    You have no credibility.

The same Peter that was outboxed by a past prime if not shot, James Toney who was way over his Holyfield weight, and then came to the rematch even fatter? That Peter?

The same Chambers that could barely get past Povetkin who stood right in front of him like a jackass? The same Chambers who's gameplan was to stand right in front of Wlad, squared up, straight up and down, with a high guard, and lunge with right hands against a guy with more reach, faster feet, and arguably the hardest punch in the heavyweight division? That Chambers?

And Tony Thompson? The same Tony Thompson who had NOBODY on his record and was reportedly getting BATTERED BY HAYE in sparring. http://www.espn.co.uk/boxing/sport/story/54028.html That Thompson?

You don't know **** about boxing. The in Tyson's era were FAR SUPERIOR to these JOKERS that we have boxing today. The only guys who are worth a damn are the Klitschko's and Haye. That's it.

Wlad doesn't have one good win to his name aside from a relic of a once good fighter in Mercer, and he got the **** beat outta him by BUMS.

SO please shut the **** up and never address me directly again about the sport of boxing. I suggest you go back to MMA and roll around on the ground with the rest of the homosexuals such as yourself.

    Man, you got to stop.

Holmes is the same man that went on 4 years later to beat A PRIME MERCER who is Wlad's best win, ya dick suckin *****.

And Jones Jr best win is JAMES TONEY.

Man, you don't know **** about boxing.
