Let's get Tailor/Pavlic III so Jermaine can finally get his just due after being robbed of a win in their first fight.

You think that if he and Martinez were to fight in the (near) future Jermain would show up in the same shape as against Hopkins 5 years ago?! For all I know he looked shot to **** in his last fight.
Tyson walks around lean and in shape too.

With Pat Burns, he can recapture the MW title.

If he fights Martinez, I'll pick Taylor to win.

Second, not first. The first fight was a KO. The second was the close points win for Pavlik.

If they fight in the late summer or fall of next year, yes I'll be picking Jermain to win...assuming he looks good in his tune ups.

    Anyone but Martinez.

Even in his prime, Jermain wouldn't have beaten Sergio. Hopkins would, though. Styles.

Jermain never lost to a defensive fighter. Froch, Pavlik and Abraham all came after him and wore him out.

I think Taylor has the skills to beat Martinez, just like he beat Hopkins (who had a similar style to Sergio).

Ummm he got a draw with a light middlweight in Winky Wright and an SD against ****ing cory spinks AFTER he got KO'd by Judah.

Taylor beat Hopkins (most feel Hopkins should have won) because Hopkins gassed. Probably weight drained aswell.

Sergio is just as good as that Hopkins, with better stamina.

Martinez would box circles around Taylor.

he was a good guy jermain, a lot of people called him a hype job at the time but his resume of opponents reads as good as any middleweights of today IMO.

that being said he is only effective (this purely means will not get knokced out) against people who won't punchhard and who will tire late on.

I'm not even sure he'd last against sturm, chavez and martinez today. i think he could take out pirog though but that's a low reward high risk matchup.

    Would be good.

I dont think Taylor is finished, he just needed a lot of time to gather himself and by the sound of it he has.

If he can make 160 comfortably and still has that hunger then he can be a force again.

i don't think he's shot but he can't handle pressure down the stretch.

We been saying this for about the last 2 years of his career dude is done and has been done.

He'll get KO'd in the late rounds whenever he fights a top fighter. I hope he never gets in the ring with any of the fighters in the super 6. That would be KO waiting to happen as soon as he signs the contract.

he's also fighting at 160, that should help him out a bit, it should be in little rock so I will probably be at the fight
