M8......I have indeed seen both of the Young-Lyle fights,so I will not shut the **** up,as you so eloquently request. So Ali was past it for most of the decade ? Ask George Foreman if he thinks that Muhammad was past it when they fought in Zaire :hi:

  2. HAHAH! OWNED! THE FIRST LYLE-YOUNG FIGHT WAS NEVER RECORDED *****. THE ONLY THING THAT EXISTS OF THE LYLE-YOUNG FIGHT IS NEWSPAPER REPORTS, SCORES, AND SOME RARE PICTURES WHICH I HAVE OBTAINED.

    Now that i know ,
    u r bullshitting ,u ought to stfu , u r embarresing YOURSELF .

It proves , how limited foreman was . a limited power-slugger . IT IS ALL HE KNOWS .

FOREMAN FOUGHT 1 TERRIBLE FIGHT IN ZAIRE. THTS Y HE LOST. DIP****

He's the Henry Cooper fan character.

He's right about Jimmy Young though. Young was just a mediocre contender, a spoiler who could make fighters look bad but failed to come up to championship standard.

Eddie Chambers, Alexander Povetkin, Ruslan Chagaev and David Haye would all beat Jimmy Young.

I know Foreman was past his best, but was Young not "championship standard" the night he decisioned him? :think

None of those fighters are as proven as Young...

Collectively their best wins are Valuev, Chambers, Peter & Ruiz.

    Not in my opinion.
I don't think either fighter performed outstandingly in that fight. Foreman was pitiful really.

I don't really rate Young. The constant complaining in the Foreman fight is not what i expect from a fighter.

He wasn't a fighter, he was someone who took advantage of the ruleset.

He's getting severely underrated in this thread. This man would school quite a few heavyweights these days, but he wasn't quite championship material.

This clearly marks "p00ckerh00ked" as a first class troll..ignorant of the very basics of boxing..and unable to clearly discern a great decade like the 70's..probably a 16 year old who gets to use his daddy's computer till he gets back home from work. Stick to the general forum, troll!!
