oh please, it was never a choice between Cunningham or Wlad. We're talking over 3 years ago. The choices then were between Cunningham or Enzo or Bonin. Haye went after the latter two scrubs....instead of proving himself as undisputed CW with the former.

Didn't Enzo have the WBO title at the time?

Haye could've fought Adamek and Cunningham for the CW championship and still not earned as much as he did vs Barrett.

Sad that CWs are so underpaid. If they want to make in money in the sport they either got to move up to HW and get their brains beat in by guys like Klitschko or they gotta move down to LH and get potshotted to death by guys like BHOP.

And who was/is clearly the better cruiser, Enzo or USS?

Yep and as everyone knows haye vs Enzo was a big fight in the uk whereas nobody in the uk outsifde of boxings real hardcore fans would know of Cunningham.

And yet Haye's legacy at cruiser would have been much more memorable and respectable had he faced Cunningham. We all know how good enzo was. In fact Haye should have faced Enzo (for the money and for the belt) and just stick around a few months longer to go for Cunningham. It's not as though this would have cost him a lot of time off his HW campaign, since he's sat on his ass and wasted his time for over 3 years anyway.

it cracks me up when some ****ing losers who spend their life on a forum start dissing the "legacy" of multiple weight world champions.

And that changes things how? 3 years ago, Haye had already confirmed his move up to HW and was already talking about aiming for the Klits. My point remains, Cunningham claimed Haye was ducking him in order to fight the Klits...which is without logic. The fact it took this long to make the fight due to contractual disputes, real and/or fake injuries, postponements, financial issues...it's all irrelevant. No one ducks a cruiserweight to make a fight with the Klistchkos.

I think you are revising history a little there. What has Bonin got to do with this? In June 2008 Haye had already KOed him and was had already set his sights on Wlad (surely you can remember the baiting taking place as he was moving up to HW?!). Fighting Cunningham would have got him no closer to that goal, and let's be honest, a win over Cunningham would be completely irrelevant if gets a win over Wlad, Vitali...or even both. Whether he can do that or not remains to be seen.

Haye did duck him, why deny it? Adamek ducked the rematch as well.

It cracks me up when people consider Haye a legit multiple division champ. Everyone knows the way in which he won this belt and who's belt it was to begin with.
