Mayweather: All the fighters they say I ducked happen to be Arum's fighters

He's right, but some how they'll say he ducked Paul Williams too.

 

he could have made those fights though if he wanted, bob arum dislikes floyd but floyd only seems to want to work with gbp as well.

 

Some people claim he ducked Tszyu, Williams, and Mosley. They aren't TR fighters. The fact of the matter is, when you're on top, people are going to try to knock you off the mountain top. They can't beat Mayweather in the ring, so they try to discredit his career. Arum is an influential man in the sport and has a grudge against Mayweather. He's done a great job of marketing his guys by claiming Floyd is ducking them. Watch, pretty soon he'll be ducking Mike Jones.

I find it so much harder to support Pac when people on this forum hate on Floyd with no reasonable grounds. Margarito was Arum's fighter, Cotto was Arum's fighter, Manny is Arum's puppet pretty much...the man has a point.

The steroid test thing is pure bs, but Mayweather does face better opposition. It was he that took the zero from Hatton and Embarrassed Mosley

 

Floyd totally dislikes Arum, and has for while. It goes deeper than you think dun.

 

Weak excuse. Count how many Golden Boy fighters below Pac has fought. And before you say Pac is part of Golden Boy too, Arum makes the decisions.

Arum wanted Castillo to take Floyds spot. Arum didn't come to Floyds defense after he beat castillo in a close fight...even talking about Floyds style of fighting. He put Floyd on the back burner also. He wanted Floyd to fight Margarito when Floyd wanted shane or dlh. Arum didn't like dlh after he left T.R either. Just some of the things to factor in when you get the time line right. In other words, Floyd implied way back then that arum tried to get him beat because he didn't think Floyd would become big.

All of this made Floyd think about wanting to sell himself, and after he talked to Dlh...Floyd bought out his own contract from Arum.

 

And he tried to fight Mosley back after he beat Vargas; but Mosley didn't want no parts of him...and Floyd didnt fight at 140 until May 2004...so for him and Tszyu to have fought it would have been 2004-2005...Tszyu was on like a 16 month vacation after beating Mitchell and didnt fight again until being stopped by Hatton...so when could Floyd have fought him? The only person i can somewhat see is Paul Williams; but he doesn't have the financial draw to make business sense...

 

Floyd also thought Arum was taking a bit too much of his hard earned money.

 

people said Floyd ducked Mosley back in the day, they also said he was ducking PW, they said he ducked Tszyu, they said he ducked Casamayor, they said he ducked Hatton at some point... He fought a lot of Golden Boy fighters.
