Arum wasn't business- friendly by any means, but if Floyd had publicly voiced a willingness to fight these fighters and hyped up himself and the potential bouts as legacy-defining, then the money would have been there and the fights could have been made. floyd's resume is a big "what if". he could of fought cotto when he was the biggest threat at welter back in 2008 but preferred WWE. he could of fought pac and instead of going on vacation.

Floyd thought that his fights with Chico and Castillo could've been ppv fights since there were ppv fights with T.R fighters at lower weights fighting on ppv. Floyd would've fought on a ppv undercard of those fights is what he said back then to get into the spot light.

When Arum couldn't deliver Dlh or Shane at that time, that's why we got the gatti and Judah fights. When Arum mentioned Margarito as a possible fight, Arum said he would give him 7 mil.
