What Floyd thinks in terms of his ability to sell PPV's is not relevent, since he was just not a PPV draw, a rating grabber on TV, nor a ticket seller at the gate. The weights have NOTHING to do with it. not sure what relevency you think applies.

No, that's way off. How could Arum have delivered a 140 Mayweather to a 154 DLH at the time? You seem to not recall or know that Floyd fought TWO ELIMANATORS to get the Gatti fight. So you are suggested Floyd, at 140, wanted DLH at 154, but instead settled on Corley and Bruselles just to get to Gatti?

And now, giving Floyd a career high payday to face Margarito is an insult? Where the **** do you get this type of logic? :huh For the record, Margarito and Arum were trying to face Floyd before Baldomir even won his belt. You are just recreating a time line to fit you.

 Floyd was paid greatly for what he was bringing in. How many other non-draws can collect 5 mill paydays over and over while leaving a venue half empty?

I know I do that. Yet I am not the one who comes in and tries to act like I am only wanting to talk boxing. That would be you.

And no, I don't take any of this personal. Why would I? And I'm not protecting anyone. How the **** did you get that from my post? All I said was you flame other posters while trying to act like you only want to talk about the sport. Makes you look like a hypocrite.

In 2006, Arum offered offered Floyd 8million to fight Margarito, and 7million gurantees for Cotto and Hatton. Signing this would have meant Floyd rights would have stayed with Arum and he would've remianed a Top Rank fighter.

Floyd said cool to Margr, but wanted 10mil for Cotto and Hatton, and he wanted the DLH fight, which everyone knew would be a huge fight.

Arum said no increase and told him to forget about the DLH fight because he wanted interested in doing it.

Floyd turned down the offer, left Top Rank and went on to mammoth paydays, and made the DLh fight which Arum wasn't interested in making.

cotto back in 2008 and pac currently are two of the biggest fights he could of fought and won. instead both times he retired and/or took a vacation. if he just took those fights and won, won't he be seen as a much greater fighter than he is seen now?

You do take anything any Floyd fan says about Pac personal. Posters aren't shitting on me. They are shitting on you.

You dont even give your opinion here. Every damn Floyd fan to you talks out of their ass according to you. You love arguing, I don't. This is a forum to argue boxing, not with each other about bull****. If posters checked your last 100 posts, I bet many of them are arguments about someone elses opinion and not yours.

    Is Floyd signed to GBP's???

I agree Cotto, would have been exciting fight back in 2008, though i have no doubt Floyd schools him. But Floyd wouldn't be any better off now. He wouldn't get credit. People would just bash Cotto, and just "so what, look what Margarito did to him, look what Pac did to him."

Floyd isn't teh GOAT or nothing like that, but he gets underrated because a lot of people don't like him.

nah i think a cotto win when he was undefeated and coming of a mosley win would be very big. even if margarito and pac beats him after. alot of critcisim of floyd is at the higher weights where he could of done more. he is trying to make up by fighting mosley and now ortiz but he is barely an active fighter now fighting just once a year.

Kostya Tszyu? Paul Williams? Shane Mosley before he was 38?
