Why? Based on an excellent Cruiserweight record and decent heavyweight competition (compared with Wlads), I don't see anyone on Wlads record who is better.
No definitley not but its our perceptions and our high holding of Haye that makes us think he is any better than recent opponents even if he isnt even if he is the toughest guy he faced since winning the belt he is not the best opponent the guys that beat Wlad are not Wlad's best opponents Haye is not the best opponent just perceived as a huge threat
Outside of power, Byrd was better in every way than David. Ibragimov was just as good. Peter had more power and tougher. Brewster was the same as Peter. And so many more.......
Chagaev is better than Haye imho, hence he ducked him. Chagaev also beat Valuev MUCH more convincingly. Which is why i always find it laugheble when people say Haye fought such a smart fight. Chagaev is the same size and he didnt have to run around like a chicken throwing 12 punches per round.

Byrd is the best boxer but Haye has more power. And I like his style aginst Wlad. But Hayes chin may be too weak. Byrd #1 and Haye #2. Peter was always overrated.
Are you having a laugh? Was being considered the undisputed Cruiserweight champ not good enough for you? That in itself is a bigger achievement than any made by Wlads opponents. You didn't answer my question. Why isn't Haye the best fighter Wlad has fought?
I think so, he had a mandatory which most guys are stripped for not fighting Chag couldnt get cleared for England but Its a world title bout meaning the world not England WBA could have over ruled the local commission or they could have held the bout in a place that would let it go but as much as i feel sorry for Chag we get the fight we really want unless Haye hurts his back or something
