People keep saying "what has he done at heavyweight" but this is a guy who was a unified champion at the weight below, beating when he fought them, the guys rated number one and two in the division by ring magazine.

Why are people not taking what he did as a cruiserweight in to account?

I don't see how he can be called the "Unified" champion when he never won the IBF title:?.
And any top fighter will move upto heavyweight because of the money.
So the best dont stay at Cruiser for long....

First off the cruiserweight division is very soft and always has been, number two haye was never the champion of that division, he was just a belt holder.

As a cruiserweight he was very good, never pushed it to try and be the best but that's ok. Since then he has been inactive and fought no one at heavy that was prime or mattered, so he is at best a top 20 heavyweight.

He beat Mormeck who two fights earlier was knocked out by O'Neil Bell. And BARELY got by Bell in the rematch right before Haye. Enzo Mac ...he was never a world beater. Decent cruiserweight but that's all. Sorry. All the other cruisers he beat were C class boxers in that division.

And didn't Wladimir beat top 3-4 competition his last like 6 fights. The same fighterers this D-bag Haye has labeled "bums"??

Chagaev-number 3 in the world when Wlad fought him.
Chambers I think was number 4
Ibragimov was number 3 I believe.
    Thompson was top 10
    Peter was top 10

Sorry but it's hard to give Haye much credit at all when he dismisses these fighters and acts like he's a legend boxer when he has faced only the likes of Harrison, Ruiz, and Barret at heavyweight. Valuev was the only top ten guy he defeated (if you can even call it that.)

cos he "unified" 3 of the 4 major titles.

most people ***** about people calling him "undisputed" cw champion...cos he didn't get the ibf so there was a "dispute"...but the op didn't do that...

but haye was definitely a "unified" champion...like the ts said he was...

    so whats the bitching about?

    :patsch

LoL!! What "source" was that?? They are waay off. Evander Holyfield would have cracked Haye the **** out at cruiser. Same with James Toney. Jirov probably was better than Haye at cruiser ...God knows he could take a better shot. Cunningham, Adamek. Sorry but the list goes on.

Because his two best wins there were Mormeck who was a 5 round fighter and had already been stopped and Enzo Macaroni who has one of the worst Glass Jaws in the sport.

Enzo Mac the #2 CW...i dont think so.

The ****ing guy LITERALLY had his belt handed to him.He would NEVER be a champ if he actually had to fight for the title.Enzo is was and always will be garbage.

because all he did at cruiser was to beat mormeck and mormeck is not good at all.
