I don't really see the big deal here. Floyd should outpoint Ortiz and Pacquaio fairly easily. Ortiz is big but has no jab and Pacquaio is fast but smaller and won't be able to deal with Floyd's angles and jab. The only interesting fight is Sergio, imo.

Of course. But as he gets older his fights become a little more dangerous. Obviously he's gonna dominate Ortiz in September, but the age factor brings in the question of "does he still have it?"

Tell that to Roger and Sr.

Roger: Fighting Pacquiao after Ortiz is CRAZY. (Now, why would it be crazy to fight a fairly easy fight after Ortiz?)

Sr: I don't want my son to face Pacquiao, I fear for my son's life. (Now, why would he fear for his son's life in a fairly easy fight?)

Please DON'T DUCK all the questions in bold. Thank You.

For me, part of the excitement comes from the competitiveness of the challenge. While its nice that Floyd's comeback raises boxing's profile, you're right in that the only X factor is Floyd's age, which doesn't seem that big as Floyd is seemingly in shape all the time.

I think age and inactivity play a bigger factor now. I'm pretty sure Floyd can handle Ortiz but does he still have the goods to take on Pac? Granted Pac's older too and been in more wars, but at least we've seen what he's still capable off.

We'll have to see after the Ortiz fight if Floyd is still gonna be the favorite for the "Pac fight."

Which is strange that Floyd is scared for his health against Pac that he has to require OSDT to fight him. :huh

Lol.. this should be interesting. No reply bballchump?

Anyway, if you guys want an idea of how a Pac/Floyd fight will turn out, watch the the Floyd/Judah fight. Now imagine Judah being quicker, more accurate, with more aggression and with power in both hands. Imagine Judah not losing steam. Pac doesn't sound too easy now right? That's exactly what Roger and Floyd are thinking. If you think Pac is an easy fight for Floyd, you don't know **** about boxing :hey... Heck if you believe that, you don't have common sense! If Pac is so easy for Floyd they would've fought already 2 years ago and we'd have a trilogy by now.

It's either that or he decides to put safety first and fight like Mosley and Barrera did (in the 2nd fight).
