If Wladimir wins, Heavyweight division is officially dead!

    Closer this fight gets, I believe Haye is going to win this fight. 8/10 weeks ago, I gave Haye little chance, but analaysing it a bit more, Im leaning heavily towards Haye.
    Wladimir under Steward has one way of fighting. Jabing fighters to death, holding, leaning, repeat. Now Im not hating on him for it, it works, and minimises his risk of getting his questionable chin tested again.
    If you hold every physical advantage over your opponent, and both of you have fairly limited ability, then plan A is usually good enough.
    When was the last time Wladimir fought someone who is quicker than himself? Or is arguably a better boxer? And who will be coming with gameplan he believes in and a coach who is top notch?

    Id say its arguable that he never has.

    Many are saying that if Haye gives Wlad room to work, hes dead meat. Id argue the reverse, I dont think that Wladimir can give Haye room/time to work, as Haye has better movement and if he lets Haye pick and choose when to engage, Haye wins IMO.
    I think Wladimir has to throw a lot of punches, particularly his recently neglected left hook. If he paws with the jab, hes getting knocked out IMO.

    Anyway, thats just some thoughts, but if Wladimir does win, the division is completely dead.
    He wont fight Vitali, so there are no fights at all left to be even remotely excited about.
    At least if Haye wins, theres the Vitali fight.

    So for that reason I hope Haye wins, and Im beginning to believe, strongly, that he will.

    The sport will be far less CLASSY without a Klitschko holding the belts, for the sake of Boxing remaining a GENTLEMAN'S SPORT I hope Haye gets utterly humiliated and sent back to the land of glass jaws in shame.

    If Haye wins he says he's retiring, so it's probably better for the HW division if Wlad wins.

    Haye, is arguably a better boxer than 2011 Wladimir. He has more variety, works the body better, is a better mover. Hes possibly a better athlete, quicker and more agile.
    Not rocket science pal! I mean hes not a Samuel Peter or any other heavybag on legs Wlad has faced lately.

    Wlad is jab, jab, jab, jab, jab, jab until his usually out of shape opponent is totally spent then he lays a beating on them.
    Him using this style and being so much better physically has been enough to see him reign. Haye has many new problems for Wlad.

    Im pretty sure that was to force the K bro's into fighting him. If he gets offered a December date v Vitali, Id be amazed if he doesnt take it.

    I just don't agree. There are a LOT of young guys to get excited over.

    Povetkin- overdue. I would like to see him agaisnt Vitaly rather than WLad.

    Helenius- Almost ready. Lyackovich will be his third former titlist scalp.

    Pulev- A few more fights. At 6'4 1/2, with an extensive amatuer background including a win over Solis, will be a good chellenger.

    Glazkov- ahwile off yet, but one of the best in terms of potential.

    Boytsov- hope his hand is well.

    Price- Awhile off, but has taken steps.

    The winner of Fury-Chisora becomes a British superstar

    Stiverne- I know everyone is down on him, but he's got he big power

    Mike Perez- demonstrated his power and skill at prizefighter. Just needs to prove his stamina

    Ortiz- this guy I think is the sleeper of the bunch. 6'4, big power, southpaw, fast hands, almost 400 amatuer fights. Look out!

    Seth Mitchel, Deontay Wilder, Warwyk, Wach, Zimnoch, Abdusalamov, Joe Hanks, Gerber, Wallisch, Teper all developing.
