What is Bernard "The Executioner" Hopkin's best win?

Trinidad. That's the fight that really made his career. He went into it as a 3-1 underdog and completly dominated Tito. People try to play the weight card but Tito was a beast. He had destroyed joppy in a manner that no middleweight could. I think he would have beaten any other active middleweight other than hopkins at the time and hopkins not only beat him but owned him

Also this is the fight that took hopkins from fighting for peanuts at the blue horizon and on ESPN to headlining multi million dollar fights. Trinidad opened the doors to the big time and made every other fight in the poll possible

 

Although not his best, De La Hoya should have made the poll at least.

 

U seen Hopkins vs Johnson? If u haven't u should check it out. Hopkins was impressive in that fight even though Johnson was not the fighter he eventually became. He was still a work in progress at that time. But from Johnson mouth: that's the only time he took a beating!

 

Naaah! DLH was the one coming from a very controversial win against Sturm (who got the favor returned last weekend) and no one expected him to do well. Even the end of the fight with the body shot was controversial. Wouldn't make the poll IMO.

 

At the time, I remember being surprised that Tito carried his power to mw in beating Joppy. But I wasn't overly impressed, I have to admit. No offense, but it was Joppy! Never understood, however, how he was the favorite against Hops, who was, in my mind, clearly bigger, stronger, and more crafty. The only thing I remember thinking at the time was that Tito would have a chance if Hops got old overnight! Little did I know!

His best win was the destruction of the "Knee Gals"

 

Not technically a win but I thought the way he heroically lost to Joe Calzaghe was pretty heroic. He really did go out on his sword in a close fight. There is no shame in losing to an ATG fighter in such a way, props to old Bernard.

 

Pascal for me, I never thought anyone would surpass Foremans record, he did it by beating the undisputed champ

 

Calzaghe is not ATG. He was a great undefeated fighter that will go to the hall of fame no doubt.

B-HOP is the ATG.
