Is Nonito "The Filipino Flash" Donaire the greatest Bantamweight of all time?

    Is Nonito "The Filipino Flash" Donaire the greatest Bantamweight of all time? I havent seen anyone dominate a great champion like Montiel since Pacquaio destroyed Ricky Hatton. I really cant see anyone beating him at that weight. If you do not think Nonito is the best who do you consider the best.​

    No GTSK, Donaire is not the best Bantamweight ever. He's not remotely close.

    Eder Jofre or Carlos Zarate take that mantle.

    Why do you condider Montiel overrated? He went to Japan and destroyed Haswega and had two belts.

    check the OP and when you see GTSK, surely it's a joyboy ALT posing as a pinoy when he can't even answer any of my question in filipino without the help of an on-line translator. he's trying to wind-up guys here with his threads.

    I guess it sounds like I am belittling his victory but, that wasn't the same Hatton, Hatton had no gameplan in that fight, just rushing forward and his chin had completely deteriorated.

    So don't dwell on that victory too much.

    And Floyd had already beat him anyway... as is the pattern with a few of Manny's past fights.

    Is Montiel overrated ? Of course not..

    Is Nonito the best ever at 118, no..

    Could he be with the talent he has, if he stayed there for longer, most definitely..

    The Flash doesn't have as many achievments at 118 but he's got the tools to do it. Nonito has 1 punch ko power, lightning speed, pernell whitaker skills, chin that would ali proud and huge for a BW. Who do you guys think can beat him?

    Right now, nobody at 118lbs beats him. All time, i would say guys like Jofre, Olivares, Zarate, and Harada beat him.

    Good to see the mexicans opinions. They ve had a lot of great champions at BW and I respect their answers. Who's the guy they called Mi bida loca? I heard he was a monster as well

    Johnny Tapia, he was a beast at 115lbs and at 118lbs as wellbut more so at SuperFly. That would be a hell of a fight in either weight.
