When Peter was an undefeated Heavyweight he weighed in the 240s,he was a fat lump when he went to 265 but against Wlad he weighed 241 and was in good shape. Chambers was fat when he fought Peter and he weighed 223lbs,against Wlad he was 209,the same weight when he made his debut 11 years ago. Neither obviously have bodys of Greek Gods but no way fat.
Chagaev and Ibragimov were also podgy. But it's not so much that these guys were fat, they just weren't that good. And in a lot of cases they were unmotivated.
I still don't get the 'they weren't motivated' myth. Not very good? Fair enough. Not in the best of shape? Also agreed, a lot of heavyweights aren't. But 'didn't want to win'? Bollocks.
if they wnated to win they would come in shape and not like fat lumps of turds. most of them went in there for paydays.
Because they realised very early on that they didn't have the physical tools to beat Wlad. So they went into survival mode.
seriously that is totally disrespectful. there are a lot of things i dont like about roach but i know for sure he wouldn't let anyone speak to him like that, their ass would be out of his gym that day.
You do know, by 'he'll be gone after July 2nd' I meant, he'll be leaving Wladimir when he loses on July 2nd, right?
Haye's foot speed in the first few rounds is going to give Wlad fits, Haye should go at him like a mad man from the bell, get him out of there in a few rounds. Haye got no chance on points in Germany.
