Ward wants to fight Bute and Kessler after Super 6...

I'd like to remind posters that Ward said Bute before Kessler.


I know it means nothing.

 

Laffie I defend Bute quite a bit, as his resume is better overall than Wards, which many overlook because Ward is in the S6 competition, but Bute doesnt seem to put himself out when there was potential fights to be made that are bigger than what he has been getting. I doubt Bute is scared, but he is not pressing his case

 

Bute signed with Showtime because they told him he would fight the super 6 winner in USA. I guess he doesn't feel necessary to talk, although he did a couple of days ago. He may be too humble some times.

 

If he travels for both Bute and Kessler then, win or lose, he'll have my great respect. I cannot remember a yank star travelling to his opponents hometurf since the days of Ali.

 

I don't think Ward would fight both Kessler and Bute abroad. Anyway, Bute also needs to travel so I expect Ward-bute to be in the USA.

 

I can't see a Kessler rematch coming to fruition

 

That's a very nice plan of his but the world may feel differently if the Froch fight doesn't end the way he envisions it.

 

Is Bute planning to earn his shot by beating someone decent in the meantime?

Wish he would rematch Kessler, in Denmark. He'd get all sorts of thrown off.

 

Even though the first fight was such a beating and onesided . I would love see a rematch between Kessler and Ward . But For some reason i just cant see Kessler agreeing to a second meeting . I mean that was the worst whoopin he ever took in his career and he was pretty much embarrassed by Ward . I doubt he would want to experience that again .
