Hi guys, first post but was wondering if any of you feel the same. During this run up week loads of people have noticed vitali standing behind wlad in almost all appearences. Especially the last press conference, does anybody feel this is a klitschko plan to try and intimidate haye? or wladimir has asked vitali to be there as "backup" ? Vitali looks like he wants to punch David haye more than wlad. please note i am going for haye by knockout BUT i have huge respect for wladimir and am in no way taking away his achievements before a load of fanboys abuse me.
It's not a big deal. Lots of fighters have family members or friends in their entourages. It's just that Wlad's family member happens to be a pro boxer, that happens to be tougher than him.
i agree but vitali has been a massive presence in the build up to this fight, whereas he had gone unnoticed in wlads previous..
Vitaly thrives in situations like this, that is his drugs. That is why he still fights. He is an adrenalin junkie.
Haye knew what he was in for when he signed the contract. He's doing his own share of BS to **** them back.
but isnt it a bit disrespectful to wlad, i mean vitali is getting some attention, and being the BIG brother would mean in my head hes afraid for me and wants to be there to back me up?? or is that a stupid thought
vitali probably dislikes haye even more than wlad, this is all to intimidate haye, he isnt fighting wlad but the klitschko's . I would even root for haye if I knew for sure he would face vitali after wlad but since he seems scared of vitali I doubt it, vitali would give haye a terrible beating even at this stage of his career, and some of the stuff he got away with saying to wlad he would not get away with vs vitali.
This is normal. VK is part of the entourage and always is. It seems Haye quite knew this anyways and he had the shirt with both brothers heads on it, so what do you expect? Besides the fight is in the ring with just Wlad. VK will be in the corner like he ALWAYS is. Nothing new here at all.
Hey, cut Vitali some slack. He wanted this fight VERY BADLY. Giving it over to Wlad was pretty big of him, considering that he is 39 years old and closer to the end of his career than Wlad is. So Vitali is trying to soak up the atmosphere a bit, and why not? He already gave up a lot for this.
Also, in the Klitschko documentary, they talk about how they approach EVERY fight as if it's the two of them against the opponent. This time is no different.
Be prepared for a brawl in the middle of the ring if Haye wins the contest. Vitali is a loose cannon.
nah, it's not a plan. they are in each other's camp when there's a fight..they're brothers, so it's to be expected. but you can see how much vitali's enjoying being there... he hates haye more than wlad does. he wishes it was him fighting haye. you can tell by the look in his eyes. i don't see a problem with it.
