According to FN, Arum and Cotto have reached a "handshake" agreement in which Cotto stands to make between 5 and 7 million dollars prior to upside of the PPV. Margarito is set to make about 2 million dollars. The fight will take place at Madison Square Garden and will be signed in the next few days.

No word yet on who will handle the PPV, but whoever ends up with Pacquiao-Marquez III, will also carry Cotto-Margarito II.

Margo won the first fight and gets way less? I know Cotto is the belt holder and gets the bigger half but his chunk seems much bigger

The Margarito that had Pacquiao was running for his life, would annihilate Cotto once again.

margarito should be gratefull to be even fighting let alone getting titleshots.
Also what is important is cotto said he will move to middleweight after the fight(most likely targeting chavez jr I think). I hope cotto gets his redemption this year.

If it's in NYC, I'm going. I went to the first one and think it's only fitting to attend the rematch. Last time I rooted for Margarito, but this time I'm going for Cotto (for obvious reasons).

The only way for cotto to win is by an extremely UD. but hes better than that and exchange with margo. Margarito by TKO

Well, Cotto is also the bigger draw between the two.

Plasterboy gets another payday of millions and I'm assuming title shot? Nice.

this is almost too good to be true, I will fly into NYC to see the fight at the Garden if it actualy happens? revenge in front of a Pro Boricua crowd would be most fitting and total justice.

I think we will see safety first miguel cotto with steward, kind of similair to the mayorga fight, they will be looking to prolong cotto's career so they cant have him taking a beating, I think he will be smarter now and end up with an 115-113 type decision, it will be difficult.
Its also very obvious arum will feed the winner of this fight to chavez jr to hype him more.

I may bet a huge chunk on Cotto. I think he's got this.
