People forget that Margarito hasn't been the same since the first fight either. Both men are faded since their first encounter but this is the kind of fight that won't be hard for either man to get up for. Cotto will obviously seek revenge and Margarito will look for redemption and try to prove he can beat Cotto without bricks in his hand. Pacquiao messed him up pretty badly and I'm still unsure if Margarito will be able to fight this year. Margarito in a way tried to redeem himself against Pacquiao by fighting clean but I'm not sure how his eye is. I'm thinking that Cotto will fight at a distance and put on a clinic in a very physically tough fight but both men will fight hard for sure.

 

I don't think Margarito's face will be completely healed by then but I doubt that will have any effect on the outcome. If Cotto's smart, he'll be fighting off the ropes much less.

 

Cotto ran from Pac while Margarita ran to Pac. Cotto will get knocked out again maybe faster this time.

I have heard from some people connected to Margarito that his current contract with his management team was set to expire so this may actually be the reason for the delay. The source also said that Margarito may leave Robert Garcia and hire another trainer

 

thats what i thought but i also heard garcia tried implementing a slightly different style than margo was comfortable with.
