    Thanks ! I had never seen that one before. These kinds of blows often do more damage than it seems.

    I miss him too. It was very unfortunately that he busted up his knee. A lot of people saw that he definitely has the goods as he was outboxing Vitaly until that happened. Many fans will not agree and say that he was TKO'd but the reality is that his knee gave up on him of course caused by Vitaly's punch.

    He will definitely be back, and more motivated than ever. Vitaly got extremely lucky that Solis busted up his knee. No one has heard anything from him lately but since he was in the hospital he didn't gain any weight and that's a major victory for him. Just watch this Cuban come back and TKO everyone in his path! I can't wait ... :good

    That's the best clip of it I've seen.

    "he was outboxing Vitaly..."

    Take it easy with Solis. Just because he got injured it doesn't mean that he is a disgrace. He showed up in the best shape of his life in losing about 20 pounds and ready for action but the worst happened. Solis is still our best HV, better than Mike Perez and Glendy Hernandez, only Luis Ortiz is close to him in skills and amateur accomplishments. We should not be too harsh on him yet, let him come back and show us what he can do! :good

    Solis didn't deserve a championship fight in the first place. In his prior fight against Ray Austin his fat ass was so totally exhausted he was about to fall down. They had to send the referee in to save him by making one of crooked boxing's infamous quick stoppages.

    In addition, and worst of all, Solis doesn't conduct himself like a gentleman or a sportsman, but more on the lines of a preening a-hole like Haye.

    You do have a great point. Vitaly knows that he didn't hit him hard enough and that's why he got so pissed off as he thought that Solis was faking it. That proves that Solis went down because of the injury, and not from that Mickey Mouse punch! :twisted:

    :lol::rofl:patsch

    No it proves just as I predicted before the fight that Solis has a fragile Glass Jaw. He has no Chin. None.

    Well I do. Too bad about the knee injury. I think he'll get a shot at Wlad somewhere down the road.

    Never.It's way too late in the game for him to make permanent lifestyle changes. He had his chance and blew it. He absolutely needs to be around 230 to be competitive at the elite level but he just doesn't have the discipline nor the desire. Those of you thinking that if Arreola can do it, so can Solis...Arreola is a 6'4 banger with a great chin, Solis is a 6'1ish boxer who relies heavily on footwork, handspeed and reflexes. Notto mention that Solis has been fighting around 40lbs above his ideal fighting weight whereas Arreola only had to cut about 20lbs. My point is Solis has more of a hill to climb if he wants to make a serious comeback since he's older, smaller and lacks the necessary fire to make such a comeback possible.

    No one knows where his mind set is at now. Arreola's determination got fired up after his loss to Adamek. Maybe Solis feels just as bad about his loss to Vitali and wants to redeem himself. I remember him talking about taking diet more seriously while he's out. I don't like his attitude about his sport, how he says he doesn't like it and just considers it a job, but maybe this fight has changed his mind.

    No my friend, I am sorry but that punch just nipped his face. It wasn't even a solid punch, and Solis has a very proven chin. I don't know if you know this but Solis fought 9 rounds ( 3 amateur fights ) against hard hitting legend Felix Savon ( who knocked people down similar to Stevenson with one shot ) and Solis never went down. I can guarantee you that Savon hits just as hard or possibly harder than Vitaly, so Solis went down from an injury. But I don't want to keep on cause I can't change your views and you can't change my views about this fight. God Bless you... :good

    Amateur fights mean nothing. Solis, just like the over hyped Jorge Luis Gonzalez has a Glass Jaw. How can you not see this? The guy can't take a punch.

    He lost his balance partly because of the placing of his feet and his fatness, then wobbled down into an awkward position which made his injury coming into the fight even worse. Has nothing to do with a glass jaw.
