When will Odlanier Solis be back? Any news?

  1. The thing I like most about him is his first name. It's cool. I wish it was my name. But,he needs to drop some weight. I'm not one of those guys who thinks every fighter has to look like Norton or Haye or Holyfield but for Solis height,he should be 15-20 pounds lighter.
Also,it is impossible for him to have had won the first round when he fought Klitschko because he was KO'd. How can you win the round that you were beaten in? Solis should be fighting often and impressively. None of the young fighters fight like they want to be champions except for Arreola. All of the young fighters fight like they're already champions and that is why the get killed when they fight good fighters. When was the last time Povetkin and Boytsov fought? Lazy ****s! If a young fighter dosen't take too much punishment in a winning performance then he should be fighting a few months later like Arreola is doing. **** Solis,he is a lazy, cocky fat piece of ****.

    nice avatar
no i think most of the solisfans or vitali haters were saying he was "winning the round" which is worse than saying he won the round :D
i agree about the young lazy fat boxers of today,,,,the young prospect povetkin is 31 years old already....by age 31, mike tyson had spent 2 different stints in prison, 3 years for the ****, 1 year for hitting a guy at a traffic dispute...had over 40 fights and 2 time heavyweight champion with about 13 world title fights under his belt, if thats not perspective i dont know what is :)

I'd rather see him beat a streaking veteran like Welliver, or a end gamer like Tua. Someone with name, but not someone who will devestate him to the point that he loses confidence in his career.

    Peter
    Tua
    Welliver
    McBride
    Maddalone
    Grant
    Rahman
    Golota
Guys who look decent on a resume for an upncoming contender.

This fight with Vitali was way premature anyway. He had NO business in the ring with the strongest, longest, most expericence HW of this generation. Not to mention the guy with highest KO percentage of ALLTIME.

Sa,e gpes fpr DelBoy. Learn from Helenius. He's fighting good names, dominating and biding his time. It will come, as will Solis. Patience and dedication along with hard work and ability makes champions.

    He'll get his chance........I HOPE!

Uh, he was stopped in the first. By definition, he could not have one the round.

What you mean to say is that he was winning before he fell down for no reason and took a count...

...much like Haye is going to do on Saturday.

Rematch! Surely Welliver will give him a much better run minus 50 pounds. :bbb

I was impressed vs Vitali until his leg bowed. I still chalk that loss up to injury and would favor the winner of Welliver vs Solis 2 to beat Vitali. He went tin man without oil on us.
